Design and Create Class
In this unique enrichment class, kids explore how ideas become reality - by building them! Using LEGO-like bricks as their main tool, students tackle weekly design challenges that encourage creative problem-solving, imaginative prototyping, and collaborative thinking. Every session is a joyful mix of brainstorming, building, testing, and sharing.
This is not a LEGO club - it’s a launchpad for young innovators.
How does it work?
Each week, students receive a playful design challenge framed around a story, scenario, or need. They'll brainstorm, sketch or visualize ideas, and then build working models using LEGO bricks. After building, students present their models, discuss what worked and what didn’t, and reflect on how their designs could evolve.
Weekly Class Structure:
Challenge Reveal: A new problem is introduced with a fun story prompt
Brainstorm: Ideas are shared and explored
Build Time: Hands-on building session using LEGO bricks
Show & Reflect: Present, discuss, and improve designs

Who is this class for?
This class is aimed at curious and creative children who love to build, explore ideas and solve real or imaginary problems through hands-on play.
Age groups:
Ages 7-11 years (Juniors)
Ages 12-16 years (Seniors)
No prior knowledge of design or engineering is required - just a desire to imagine and build.

Time: Wednesday 2:00–4:00 pm (Juniors), 4:00-6:00 pm (Seniors)
Location: Winter Haven, Florida
