A different way of learning
We learn best when we have fun! We learn easier, faster and more effectively. Therefore, the primary goal is to awaken the joy of playing.
With a hands-on approach for all types of learners we open up opportunities from board games, role play, storytelling with different concepts, experiments and child-initiated projects in an environment that invites play and discovery together.
How do children stay inquisitive? Children naturally ask questions and are less interested in reproducing predetermined knowledge on demand. Let them ask their own questions and search for an answer together.
It may seem like a fun pastime, but playing is the basic way of multi-layered learning. Whether it’s calculating in Monopoly, logic in chess or linguistic and social skills in role-playing games. Children learn many skills through play, including foreign languages, arithmetic and writing, but also construction, finger dexterity and “thinking outside the box”.
About
In our Homeschool Club, we follow the unschooling approach. There is no curriculum – the children decide for themselves what they want to learn. In addition, there is a range of movement, hands-on projects such as experiments and artistic activities that promote holistic learning and interaction. If this is also your approach to learning for life, we look forward to getting to know you and your child.
As a guide, I support the children where necessary, such as organizing projects, instructing experiments, helping with research and providing inspiration. I earned my degrees in architecture and economics in Germany.
However, what keeps me most engaged at the moment is homeschooling with my 4 children aged 14 to 5. Every day I learn something new from them. Each child is creative in their own way and each has their strengths and weaknesses – but they all have the fun of playing in common.
Summer School
Art Class
In our art course, we offer various methods of artistic creation: Depending on their age, the children try their hand at experimenting with colors, shapes and different materials. The focus here is on fun: the children are free to choose their own motifs and colors - sometimes the journey is the reward.
Brick Building
In the Brick building class, children are free to choose whether they want to build and play freely or dedicate themselves to a project based on instructions such as constructive technique.
Whether it's a car race or a collaborative brick city - there are (almost) no limits to the imagination with this game.
STEM
This hands-on approach allows children to discover their love of chemistry and physics. Nature is full of wonderful secrets to be discovered. Each experiment is combined with a craft that the children can take home with them. All courses are combined with free play.
